Our health practice is pleased to welcome four outstanding emerging designers as recipients of the first E. Todd Wheeler Health Fellowship.
Hailing from the states of California, Illinois, Maryland, and New York, and bearing architecture and design degrees from the likes of Clemson University, George Washington University, Rice University, and the University of Kansas, the 2019 Class of Fellows will spend the next year helping us advance healthcare design through creative thought and applied research.
We asked the fellows to share a bit about themselves—their sources of inspiration, their passions, the stuff that makes them unique—and what we learned is that each has a deeply personal connection to the design and delivery of healing environments.
We invite you to get to know our Class of 2020 E. Todd Wheeler Health Fellows by clicking on their names, below, and reading their stories:
The highly competitive E. Todd Wheeler Fellowship, named for the design luminary who transformed healthcare architecture in the mid-twentieth century, aims to prepare the next generation of designers to successfully take on the challenges and opportunities of healthcare delivery now and in the future.
