Bill had the good fortune to grow up in 1960s Chicago, where the most exciting American architecture of the time was happening. Visiting downtown Chicago and seeing future landmarks under construction, along with classic buildings from the late 1800s, inspired him to become an architect.
He joined us in 1980, three years after graduating from Illinois Institute of Technology. He moved to California in 1998 to help expand the our Los Angeles practice. His detail-oriented approach to architecture led him to his role as technical director of the Los Angeles studio.
